My dear friends,
Yes, we've finally made a move, to a ghost town in South Yorkshire.
The joy of getting our own place has not yet completely sunk in. We've been here for two weeks or so and still in the mood for exploring the area. We've found Sainsbury's (a fine and affordable supermarket) and Meadowhall shopping centre (about 20 minutes drive) - they are things that matter to me most at this stage of life.
Most of the time in the evenings we spend, two couch potatoes, cuddling into the sinking sofas below. About 99% of the furniture in the house is provided by the landlord and so this set of settees have served their time for quite a while - they're getting a bit saggy.
Although we have a lovely dining room, we hardly ever use it for that purpose, i had it as my study for a few days. The french doors invite all the summer light into the room. Research shows that enough light makes people feel better.
Finally the rear garden, we did sit outside a couple of times. Unfortunately, we couldn't enjoy our private cozy garden as much as we'd have liked to due to chilly weather. The other day, we noticed some cats sitting on our decking. Two different cats on different occasions. I'm NOT a big fan of cats - i often boo them away if they are in the reach of my eyesight, sorry cat-lovers, i just can't stand them.
Something wrong with my computer and i've had difficulty logging onto PIXNET. It frustrates me a lot when computing problems occur.
It was very nice to see some comments from friends and learning of your good news, i'm so pleased for you guys.
