Notes from A Small Island

During the school half-term friends came to stay with us and we went to The Deep and York.  

Here are some photos and video clips of our trip to The Deep Aquarium.

I think everyone will love this aquarium without a doubt, I strongly recommend it, especially for kids and families. 

These are the first sea creatures we see - look at the starfish, so desperate to be with the visitors.

There were moments I forgot the fact that I can't swim and wished to explore the beauty of the deep. 

Bubble coral - kind of cute but weird at the same time.  What do you reckon?  I was so tempted to poke their bubbles.  

My favourite - (baby) jelly fish, look at the way they move, it appears care-free.

 I was standing in front of this massive fish tank for ages just to catch its ghostly face.  

In the end I managed to catch some of its movement, hope you enjoy what you see ~ ~ ~
